When a Steal Equates to Good Karma

Well, March is over. It was a busy, busy month for Iliana Morton Photography! I spent a lot of time last month making some great connections with some awesome wedding vendors and met so many great brides and couples that I'm excited to work with throughout the year! You all have such wonderful, creative wedding ideas, and I can't wait to see how they turn out at your actual weddings! March was a good month! Now on to April...

Did you know that April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month? Casa De Amparo is an organization based out of Oceanside that assists children who are victims of child abuse and neglect. They help with the various stages of recovery-- both phsically and mentally, and provide a caring support system.

Casa De Amparo is a non-profit organization and runs on the generous donations from people who support their efforts. Every year Casa hosts an event called "Meet The Chefs of Del Mar." Attendees are treated to a feast prepared by some of the best chefs in the Del Mar! A silent and live auction provides much needed funding for Casa De Amparo.

Here is where I come in... Elizabeth, who is the fantastic event planner behind Maximum Capacity Events contacted me a few months ago to see if I would be interested in donating some items or services to add to their impressive list of auction items. I immidiately said yes! I had heard a lot about the great work that Casa does, and I knew I had to help in some small way. So, if you attend the event you'll have the opportunity to snag a great deal on a few great photo items! I have donated a two hour engagement session and a full six hour package with engagement session! This may be a great opportunity for you to spend a little less on your wedding photography while knowing the proceeds are going to such a wonderful cause!
