Heather & Tim's Oceanside Engagement Session

As a photographer, you know you are in for a treat when within the first ten minutes the bride says "can we climb on that tractor?" and "I don't care if I get dirty."  Those phrases are like hallelujah to my ears!  So I had an amazing time with Heather and Tim during their engagement shoot in Oceanside... I got them to play on a tractor, sit on some train tracks, crawl all over various things and frolic in the water.  It's so great for me when couples aren't afraid to let loose and have a little fun and aren't worried about getting a little messy.  They were relaxed and playful the whole time, which made for some really great moments between the two of them.  Personally I always feel like the moments where a couple is sharing a true, honest laugh, or the way she looks at him while he is teasing her make for the best engagement photos... they show who they really are as  a couple, and isn't that a large part of what engagement sessions are all about in the end?
